Although our "Saved To Serve" Corps Cadet retreat was over a month ago, the effects of our wage love mission have continued into to Christmas season!
With each Golden State delegate donating $5 for their wage love shirts, we had enough to adopt a family of 3; a single mom and her two daughters, ages 10 and 2, here in San Francisco.
This family just moved into a new apartment and needed some essentials to start them off like a microwave, pots and pans, as well as sheets for their beds.
The girls received items like "Guess Who", "Bop It", an inflatable ball pit, karaoke cds, movies, a cd player, clothing and stocking stuffers.
Everything was dropped off today at our service center and we can't wait for the family to come and pick it all up!
